Our hearts sink as we bear witness to yet another heart-wrenching incident of abduction in Erah, Owan Federal Constituency of Edo State. Last night, a family visiting their hometown fell victim to the clutches of unknown gunmen who callously snatched them away from their loved ones.

The concerned citizens of Erah are calling out for help, as they find themselves in a dire situation. Without a police station or any form of government security presence, the people of Erah are left with their local vigilante group to protect them. However, these brave individuals lack the necessary equipment and ammunition to truly combat the rising tide of crime in their community.

In times like these, unity and support are pivotal. Let us stand together and demand help for the people of Erah. We urge the Commissioner of Police of the Edo State Police Command to swiftly take action and deploy police forces to Erah Forest. It is crucial to locate and rescue the kidnapped victims as soon as possible.

As a society, we cannot stay silent. We must raise our voices and bring awareness to the ongoing plight faced by innocent families who are being torn apart by violence and insecurity. It is our collective responsibility to ensure the safety and well-being of every individual in our society.
